Welcome to your one stop for Wisconsin IRA Home Energy Rebates information.
As part of the Inflation Reduction Act (IRA), Wisconsin has been allocated $149 million for Home Energy Rebates. Focus on Energy was chosen by the Public Service Commission of Wisconsin to deliver the IRA Home Energy Rebate Programs.
IRA Home Energy Rebates are not the only ways to save on your home energy projects. You may be eligible for other programs, including Focus on Energy rebates and discounts, the Weatherization Assistance Program, and tax credits. Plus, in some cases you can combine for even more savings! The Get Started tool will help you identify what you are eligible for.
The following are options for how you would like general content to look in the body of the page.

Tabs allow multiple sections of content to be in a single section, allowing the user to “tab” to different sections, that contain material specific to that area. Use case example can be found in the Income Document Options of the Income-Qualified Rebates page. This is a great way to consolidate a lot of information into a section, however, you can only open one tab at a time. Tabbed content section will close your current section if you click a new one.
NOTE: Tab space is limited, try to keep tab length to 1-3 words. Best practice recommendation, try to limit to 5 tabs max. Otherwise

This is an example of a Tab with a long title. Recommend not going this long as it can affect the design and also not fit in areas on certain mobile devices.

Multiple column grids can be used if you want to split rich text (copy and images) up into columns. Be aware of the amount of content you want in a section. More columns, means less space for each content column. Recommend not going over two columns.
Columns are responsive and will transform into a single column on mobile.

Steps can be used when creating a list of items or steps a user should follow. Accordions can expand and collapse information if there is a section with multiple bullets. Use case example can be found on Residential Heating & Cooling. You can have as many as you'd like but recommended no more than 6-8 to not over inundate a user with steps.

Callout component options for when you want a section to stand out or have link associated with a call-to-action.
Call to action blocks will stand out more than a normal standard Content Block, highlighting the text and button around a bordered block. URL Link is required to fill in the button that would associate with this block.
Block callout for content you want to highlight specifically. Call to action button available for section if wanted.
Callout: Callout Component - creates a colored bar that can highlight a new section or an important piece of content. Copy only, no images.
The following are options available for when you want to place multiple pages for reference from another section or source of the website.
Icon grids allow for simple icons to be placed in a call out box (each one takes 1/3 horizontal space) and can be custom linked. Recommend placing in 3 to keep the design even (1/3 + 1/3 + 1/3).
Description area optional, but for design purposes it's recommended if one has a description, all 3 should keep the display evenly distributed across.
