Arming the Community with Energy Efficiency: Platteville Armory
Community Impact

Energy Efficiency Help for Small Businesses

Since 1942, The Platteville Armory has been a community cornerstone, serving Platteville and the surrounding areas. Today, it's more than just a space—it's a vibrant community center that brings people together, fosters programs, and opens up new possibilities for everyone. A true hub of activity and connection!

Youth groups, Platteville city programs, the Head Start Program, and other community programs rely on the armory. The owners of The Armory realized they needed help with their utility bills and turned to Focus on Energy and their utility Alliant Energy. Their Focus on Energy Advisor, an incentive ALL BUSINESSES receive for FREE when working with Focus on Energy, walked them through the process and upgrades and now their energy usage has dropped thousands of dollars.
