A Window to Savings

Focus on Energy is offering limited-time rebates on energy-efficient window upgrades.  

Eligible customers can save up to $600 per window with Focus on Energy rebates through a participating Trade Ally contractor. Eligible customers can upgrade their home’s comfort and efficiency. The first step is to reach out to one of the participating Trade Ally contractors listed below.

  • Improve indoor comfort by eliminating drafts and keeping temperatures consistent year round.  
  • Ease the burden on heating and cooling systems — helping them last longer.

Qualifying Windows Must:

  • Have a rebate reservation form completed and approved prior to purchase and installation.  
  • Be purchased and installed by a participating Trade Ally contractor listed below between June 1 and December 15, 2026 (or while funding lasts).  
  • Replace existing single-pane or clear double-pane windows (no Low-E coating) with ENERGY STAR Version 7 Northern Climate Certified models.  
  • Be installed in conditioned spaces in existing, eligible single-family homes with three or fewer units.

1 Confirm Utility

Confirm that your utility service company participates in Focus on Energy.

Confirm which rebate level you fall into based on county and household size.

3 Contact a Trade Ally

If you choose to upgrade your windows, schedule your appointment with a Trade Ally contractor. Click the "Find a Trade Ally" button, then go to the "Trade Allies" tab.

4 Program Requirements

To review the requirements, including the Terms and Conditions, click the "Eligibility Requirements" button, then go to the "Requirements" tab.

5 Rebate Reservation Form

Prior to purchasing and installing windows, the Trade Ally contractor must complete and submit a reservation form to reserve funds.

6 Complete the Application

The Trade Ally contractor must complete and submit the application and required supporting documentation within 60 days of installation and no later than December 15, 2026.

7 Get Savings

The Trade Ally contractor and customer will determine how the rebate will be passed on to the customer. An instant discount may be applied to the Trade Ally contractor invoice.

Rebates

Windows rebates are available for eligible material costs, do not cover labor, and vary by household income. Confirm which rebate level the customer falls into based on county and household size.
