Instant Discounts Available on Select HVAC, Water Heating, and Commercial Kitchen Equipment

• Residential-sized boilers, furnaces, and heat pumps qualify for discounts between $100-$700 per unit.
• Heat pump and indirect water heaters installed in commercial and multifamily buildings can qualify for discounts between $100-$300 per unit.
• Tankless, storage, and volume water heaters qualify for discounts of $2.50/MBh.
• Commercial kitchen equipment, like dishwashers, fryers, and ovens, qualifies for discounts ranging from $100-$3,000 per unit.

Business New Construction 2026 Updates

• The Business New Construction (BNC) baseline has been updated to align with the new State Energy Code. Incentives have increased for Energy Design Assistance (EDA), Express EDA, and Energy Design Review (EDR). The Design Team Incentive (DTI) has also increased. • Multifamily developers and their design teams can receive additional incentives for Income-Qualified housing! Building owners and developers can qualify for $620 per unit, and design teams can earn up to $7,500.
• The Solar-Ready Buildings offering is no longer available.

Smart thermostats make it easy for multifamily properties to cut energy use and lower costs, and Focus on Energy makes upgrading even more affordable. Installing these devices provides multiple benefits for property owners, property managers, and tenants. Smart thermostats reduce energy costs through advanced features that optimize heating and cooling, while providing the convenience of control from a smartphone or other connected device. Many models even learn user preferences and automatically adjust for maximum comfort and efficiency.

• Purchase a qualified smart thermostat directly from a retailer of your choice and apply for a $50 rebate.
• Purchase a qualified smart thermostat from your HVAC contractor and have the discount applied to your final invoice.

Tribal Strategic Energy Fund

The Tribal Strategic Energy Fund provides rebates and support for planning, training, and energy sovereignty efforts. Federally recognized Tribal Nations with Tribal‑owned buildings can receive $25,000 to support energy-saving projects. Work with your Energy Advisor to create a plan. 20% of funds are withheld until savings reach 2,000 MMBtu.
