Abcon Electric Awarded for Continuing Efforts to Reduce Energy Waste

Little Chute – Abcon Electric, LLC earned an Energy Efficiency Excellence Award on Thursday for its commitment to reducing energy waste.

Abcon is served by Kaukauna Utilities, a member utility of WPPI Energy. The company is a Trade Ally contractor of Focus on Energy, and stays up to date on the latest lighting technology and Focus on Energy incentive programs. Abcon also makes sure its customers are aware of the programs and helps them take advantage of the monetary incentives.

The award was presentation at ATCAM, LLC, where Abcon Electric completed projects that are providing energy savings.

Focus on Energy is working with utilities across the state to present 16 Energy Efficiency Excellence Awards to outstanding businesses, schools and institutions.

A recent evaluation report found every $1 invested in Focus on Energy programs creates $5.93 in benefits for Wisconsin, including economic benefits, reduced energy costs, and reduced pollution.
