Updated Lighting Requirement

Beginning January 1, 2027, all lighting products requiring DesignLights Consortium® (DLC) qualification to be eligible for FOCUS ON ENERGY® rebates must be listed under DLC Solid-State Lighting (SSL) Technical Requirements Version 6.0. 

Products listed under older DLC SSL versions will not qualify for DLC-qualified rebates after December 31, 2026. Products listed under DLC SSL Version 5.0 or 5.1 may remain eligible if they meet the following requirements: 

• Installed in 2026: Applications must be submitted by January 31, 2027.
• Purchased in 2026 and installed in 2027: Applications must be submitted within 60 days of installation, no later than June 30, 2027. Proof of purchase is required. 

Products listed under earlier DLC SSL versions, including 5.0 and 5.1, may qualify for general wattage reduction rebates.
