In May, Focus on Energy rewarded the River Falls School District with a $143,323 incentive check for energy efficiency upgrades. The upgrades were approved through two past referendums. The amount of the incentive check matches the projected annual savings on the school district’s utility bills going forward.

Some of the projects that the River Falls School District had completed were for new energy efficient hot water boilers, a HVAC energy management system, high efficiency air conditioner systems, and ventilation controls.
