“While I wish every construction project could experience the benefit of our energy modeling process, I am delighted that 11 of these very visible projects were participants,” said Barb Ohlsen with Focus on Energy’s Design Assistance Program. “The energy savings they will experience every year is the real benefit for them and receiving the owner incentive is icing on the cake!”

Focus on Energy offers energy expertise and financial incentives to business, residential and municipal customers that invest in energy-efficient equipment and projects. Focus on Energy’s various programs are available to ratepayers of the 107 Wisconsin utilities that fund the program.
“We count on our architect and engineer Trade Allies to enroll projects in the Design Assistance Program. Their cooperation in providing us with the right information is critical to efficient delivery of our services. We want to continue growing our group of repeat design team participants.” Ohlsen said.

The most recent independent evaluation found every $1 invested in Focus on Energy programs creates $5.93 in benefits for Wisconsin, including economic benefits, reduced energy costs and reduced pollution.
