Madison, Wis. – Wisconsin’s energy efficiency and renewable resources program is celebrating more wins, earning two 2019 MarCom Awards for excellence in marketing and communications.
FOCUS ON ENERGY® recently learned it won a Platinum MarCom Award for the design of energy efficiency guides for Wisconsin home and business owners. Focus on Energy also won a Gold MarCom Award for its news release related to the Program’s annual third-party evaluation, which noted Wisconsin runs the most cost-effective energy efficiency programs of any state.
The Program also received an Honorable Mention nod in the category of Facebook Engagement for its home energy monitor giveaway at the Wisconsin State Fair.
It’s the latest round of award wins for Focus on Energy in 2019, with the Program also winning dotComm Awards and Hermes Creative Awards, as well as multiple honors from the Midwest Energy Efficiency Alliance, the Association of Energy Services Professionals and the American Council for an Energy-Efficient Economy.
In addition, the Environmental Protection Agency honored Focus on Energy in April as an ENERGY STAR® Partner of the Year – Sustained Excellence award winner, marking the 13th year the program achieved the sustained excellence designation.
The MarCom Awards honor marketing and communications work from professionals across the globe in a variety of fields. The awards are administered and judged by the Association of Marketing and Communication Professionals.
