RFC for Pitch Day 2025

FOCUS ON ENERGY® is seeking well-designed, proven, and implementation-ready pilot programs addressing any of the two concept categories described below. Categories for this RFC were chosen to address behavioral energy savings and demand flexibility and partner with higher education institutions on energy efficiency research and programming. The Administrator will select concepts totaling up to $1,000,000 in funding for implementation in Quad IV (ending December 31, 2026). Focus on Energy reserves the right to award all or a part of this funding in this cycle. Selected pilot ideas must not exceed eighteen months in duration. Organizations may submit up to one concept paper per category.

1. Customer-driven Energy Savings and Demand Flexibility.
2. Partnering with Higher Education.
