Madison, WI – Focus on Energy is offering up to double its normal incentives for qualifying projects in flood-damaged Wisconsin counties through its Community Small Business Offering (CSBO) program.
The CSBO focuses on rural Wisconsin and the bonus incentives are being offered to small businesses within rural ZIP codes in 18 Wisconsin counties. Focus on Energy partnered with Wisconsin utilities, which fund Focus on Energy programs, to identify areas hit hard by the September flooding.
CSBO representatives are stopping by businesses in the identified areas to make sure they know about the increased monetary incentives for energy-efficient upgrades that will deliver long-term savings and decrease energy waste.
Teams have already visited many communities. Upcoming campaigns include:
• Nov. 12-16 – Gays Mills, La Farge, Ontario, Readstown, Soldiers Grove, Viola
• Nov. 12-16 – Arena, Black Earth, Mazomanie
• Nov. 26-30 – Endeavor, Montello, Packwaukee
• Nov. 26-30 – Cashton, Chaseburg, Coon Valley, Stoddard
CSBO reps will not be able to canvas every town/village in the identified ZIP codes, but all qualifying small businesses in those ZIP codes are eligible for the limited-time incentives. Additionally all businesses in those areas are eligible for the incentives, not just those that suffered flood or storm damage. Find a full list of areas covered by this special offering and the criteria for qualifying as a small business at focusonenergy.com/bizfloodrelief.
The incentives offered through the CSBO cover upgrades to materials like lighting, HVAC, refrigeration, food service equipment, and process systems.
