Madison – Focus on Energy’s work stood out amongst international competition and has earned three Hermes Creative Awards.
Focus on Energy received two Gold Awards and an Honorable Mention. One of the Gold Award entries was for the Focus on Energy website design and the second honored media kit materials created for Focus on Energy’s Connected Devices campaign.
The website entry showed off major upgrades made to the site near the end of 2017 that included a new look, new navigation tools, and a simplified user experience. The media kit entry included marketing materials – bill inserts, posters, post cards – for Focus on Energy’s Connected Devices program, which offers connected devices at little to no cost to select communities in Wisconsin. These products are designed to help customers of participating utilities save energy and money.
The Honorable Mention nod went to a television ad produced for Wisconsin Public Television in 2017.
“I’m really proud of the work our team is doing,” said Jessica Wagner, Director of Marketing and Communications at Focus on Energy. “We put a lot of time and thought into developing materials that are informative and help us achieve our goal of helping Wisconsin’s home and business owners make decisions that improve energy efficiency while benefiting them economically. These awards just validate our efforts.”
The Hermes Creative Awards recognize outstanding work in the creative services industry. Entrants were evaluated by the Association of Marketing and Communication Professionals, the industry’s leading third-party evaluator of creative work. The competition included about 6,500 entries from the United States and 21 other countries.
