Eau Claire, Wis. - Focus on Energy’s Express Energy Efficiency program celebrated a significant milestone. Stephen Sydow, an Eau Claire resident and Xcel Energy customer, was the 50,000th homeowner to enjoy the benefits of the program in Wisconsin.

Since 2012, Focus on Energy’s Express Energy Efficiency program has visited 50,000 homes in 159 communities and installed more than 470,000 compact fluorescent light bulbs, 25,000 LED light bulbs, and 191,893 water-saving kitchen and bathroom aerators and showerheads. The program also reduced the water temperature on water heaters and reduced water usage by over 278,000,000 gallons.
