Focus on Energy offered Trade Ally Trainings that included support for the HVAC, renewables, and insulation and air sealing industries. These trainings were flexible and scalable to allow Trade Allies and school districts to initiate contact. The goal of the pilot was to fill-in technical support gaps in the industry and support Trade Ally talent pipeline development.
The pilot had HVAC TA contractors present to seven (7) schools totaling seventeen (17) classes and approximately 220 students in 2022. This pilot has been incorporated into existing programs.
