Are you eligible for higher rebates?

Follow the steps below to see if you are eligible for larger rebates on heating and cooling equipment or insulation and air sealing projects.

2026 Area Median Income Limits by Household Size

To determine which rebates your household qualifies for, verify the area median income you fall in (below 80%, between 80% and 150%, or above 150%) for your county and household size.

Complete your 2026 Income Eligibility Application or call 855.339.8866 to be screened by an Income Specialist.

An Income Specialist will review your income documentation and provide a response within three business days.

Provide the first two pages of Tax Form 1040 for the current year's taxes for each member of the household who earns income.
*Please black out Social Security numbers on all pages provided for each household member.

Once approved, you'll be provided with an approval confirmation number:

Option 1:

Give this confirmation number to your Trade Ally contractor prior to your heating and cooling equipment installation or insulation and air sealing project completion. They will input the number on your heating and cooling or insulation and air sealing rebate application for you.

Option 2:

If you prefer to complete the heating and cooling or insulation and air sealing rebate application yourself, use the buttons below to find the appropriate application and input your confirmation number. 

 

Retroactive income-qualified rebates are not available. Applications must be submitted within 60 days of completed project installation, no later than August 31, 2026.

All taxable and non-taxable income, including Social Security (line 6a), is counted towards your household's gross income.

  • Wisconsin Home Energy Assistance Program (WHEAP)
  • Medicaid
  • Supplemental Nutrition Assistance Program (SNAP/FoodShare)
  • Wisconsin Head Start
  • Lifeline Support for Affordable Communications (Lifeline)
  • Food Distribution Program on Indian Reservations (FDPIR)
  • National School Lunch Program – Free (NSLP)
  • Housing Improvement Program (HIP)
  • Housing Opportunities for Persons with AIDS
  • Supplemental Security Income (SSI)
  • Weatherization Assistance Program (WAP)

Even More Savings!
