Focus on Energy is seeking research projects addressing any of the four research categories described below. The Administrator will select concepts totaling up to $1,000,000 in this RFC, with the expectation of awarding funds to four (4) to six (6) research and/or development projects. Focus reserves the right to award all or a part of this funding. Selected research projects must kick-off before March 2025 and complete within one year of kick-off. Applicants may submit up to one concept per category.

• Targeted Emissions Reductions.
• Extending the Value of Energy Efficiency.
• Assessing the Landscape of Decarbonization Goals.
• Proactive Market Transition.
