See what is cooking in energy-efficient restaurants!

In the average restaurant, annual electricity intensity (kWh/ft2) is over four times higher than that of an office building! This Webinar targets restaurants and food service customers where refrigeration and cooking end-uses are a considerable share of total electricity consumption.

We will look at a number of refrigeration efficiency practices such as evaporator fan controllers, floating head pressure controls, condenser heat recovery, and walk-in refrigerator/freezer door covers. For cooking, we will examine operational best practices, ENERGY STAR® appliances, and equipment controls. In addition, we will offer efficiency recommendations for lighting, HVAC (including kitchen ventilation), and water heating.
