This project will provide Focus on Energy with data that will help encourage customers to implement more comprehensive lighting upgrades that could include controls, lower wattage fixtures, and task tuning. Focus on Energy Earns 2019 ENERGY STAR® Partner of the Year – Sustained Excellence Award

Madison, Wis. – FOCUS ON ENERGY® won the 2019 ENERGY STAR® Partner of the Year - Sustained Excellence Award for continued leadership and superior contributions to ENERGY STAR. This marks the 13th year Focus on Energy has earned the Sustained Excellence award, and the program’s accomplishments will be recognized by the U.S. Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) and the U.S. Department of Energy at a ceremony in Washington, D.C. on April 11.
 
“It’s really exciting to be a part of this program that is continuously recognized as a national leader,” said Focus on Energy Program Director, Erinn Monroe-Nye. “This amazing accomplishment could not happen without the dedicated men and women that work on this program every day.”

Focus on Energy Reaching Out to Farmers Who Lost Barn Roofs to Heavy Snow

Madison, WI – Wisconsin farmers reeling from a disastrous winter are getting a little help from the state’s energy efficiency program.

FOCUS ON ENERGY® is offering a 25-percent bonus on top of its regular financial incentives to Wisconsin farmers whose barn roofs collapsed due to heavy snowfall. The money can help farmers replace some equipment damaged in roof collapses – things like lights, waterers and circulation fans – with energy-efficient options that will save them money on their energy bills for many years.
